Victoria records three new community Coronavirus cases
Reference: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/victoria-records-three-new-community-coronavirus-cases-30-december-2020

“Now more than ever people should not let down their guard. Maintain physical distancing, practice good hand hygiene. Stay at home if you’re unwell and most of all get tested if you have any symptoms at all.”

With effect from 1 January 2021 until further notice, in compliance with DHHS guidelines updated December 2020, NBM needs to follow these rules:
A. Density quotient of 1 person per 2 square meters for indoor gatherings.
   - Due to the small size of NBM’s dana and dhamma hall, the maximum number of people (including sangha, residents and live-in volunteers) are permitted:
     ~ Dhamma hall – 15
     ~ Dana hall – 18
B. No self-serve buffet style set ups should be used.
   - Usage of communal vessels and utensils is not permitted. Therefore, the family registered to provide dana is requested and will be given priority to serve the sangha and all guests (utensils and gloves will be provided).
   - To meet density quotient requirements and enable the elderly and children to be given priority seating in the dana hall, food will be served in the following order:
     1. Sangha
     2. 8 preceptors
     3. Younger people (so that they can go outside to eat)
     4. Elderly and children under 12 are served last so that they can eat in the dana hall.
C. All places of worship with on-site operations must have a COVIDSafe Plan.
   - NBM’s COVIDSafe Plan recommends a mask to be worn at all times, but requires the wearing of masks if the 1.5 meter distancing cannot be met.
   - NBM’s COVIDSafe Plan also requires that all guests follow NBM’s safety guidelines.

Thank you for your understanding.
